₅For “over 24 hours”: Estimated battery life based on testing using a median Pixel user battery usage profile across a mix of talk, data, standby, and use of other features. Average battery life during testing was approximately 31 hours. Battery testing conducted on a major carrier network.
For “Up to 72 hours”: Estimated battery life based on testing using a median Pixel user battery usage profile across a mix of talk, data, standby, and use of limited other features that are default in Extreme Battery Saver mode (which disables various features including 5G connectivity).
Battery testing conducted on a major carrier network. For both claims: Battery testing conducted in California in mid 2022 on pre-production hardware and software using default settings, except that, for the “up to 72 hours” claim only, Extreme Battery Saver mode was enabled.
Battery life depends upon many factors and usage of certain features will decrease battery life. Actual battery life may be lower.
₆Fast wired charging rates (up to 20 watts on Pixel 7 and up to 23 W on Pixel 7 Pro) are based upon use of the Google 30W USB-C® Charger plugged into a wall outlet. Actual results may be slower. Adapters sold separately.

Basically a Pixel 6S Pro, not 7.
Everything that was wrong with the Pixel 6 Pro last year such as battery life, poor optimization, a terrible fingerprint scanner, and lack of camera features -- have all been refined here on the Pixel 7 Pro. Battery life is much better, however charging still seems to be much slower than the competition and you kind of have to babysit the phone with a charger nearby throughout the day. The screen gets plenty bright and the camera is unhinged as the best Android smartphone. The new macro mode is absolutely amazing and very useful. The speakers also got an upgrade. Overall I wouldn't spend more than $100 on this if you already have the Pixel 6 Pro but if you're coming from a much older Android phone or Pixel, it's worth the price and constantly on sale.

Pixel 7 Pro, What You Need To Know
The Pixel 7 Pro is the latest flagship phone from Google. After using this phone for 8 months here are my thoughts. Pros: -Cameras. The absolute best point and shoot smartphone camera you can get. I've used pretty much every phone and you won't get better photos than this. Just try to take a photo of a pet or one of your kids moving around and you will see the difference! This year they've added a 5x optical zoom lens that zooms in up to 30x as well as a macro camera mode. I love using both of these modes and you only get them on the 7 Pro and not the regular 7. - Android as Google intended it. Absolutely no bloatware on this phone like you get with some other companies(Samsung I'm looking at you!). You also get updates to Android as soon as they are released. - Connectivity. I have no issues picking up signal around town. This was an issue with the 6 series and Google upgraded to a new modem for the 7 series that fixed the connectivity issues. Cons: - Tensor G2. Tensor went to Samsung to make their processors for the Pixel line and they just aren't up to the level of the latest Snapdragon flagship chips like the 8 Gen 2. - Thermals. This phone gets hot! It generally stays warm when doing anything on it, but it feels on fire if you try to use it while it's charging. - Charging speeds. Charging is capped at 23 watts. This is really slow in 2023 when compared to the latest Samsung S23 Ultra that can charge at 45 watts or the OnePlus 11 that can charge at 100 watts. Overall I stick with the Google Pixel as my main phone thanks to stock Android with no bloat and the amazing cameras that are unbeatable, but I'm really hoping the Tensor G3 in the Pixel 8 Pro is a large improvement for processor efficiency that can compete more with the latest and greatest from Snapdragon.

Google Pixel 7 Pro
I recently upgraded from the Pixel 6 Pro to the Pixel 7 Pro and I must say its a refinement upgrade. Google was able to finally learn from the methodologies available in design and continuous improvement. The Pixel 7 Pro is a update of the small things that customers were not happy about the previous phone model. Battery life is better, the display looks flawless and the candy camera bar looks elegant. I am pleased with the phone and looking forward on next years models.

Pixel 7 Pro
Absolutely LOVE my Pixel 7 Pro. I've had Samsung phones for over a decade, so I was slightly hesitant to switch, but it was SO easy, everything transfered in just a few minutes. The picture quality is unreal. That's the whole reason I switched, was to check out the camera, and it does NOT disappoint!! The magic eraser is cool too, but gets a touch wonky if you're trying to erase too much... But I don't know why you'd be doing that anyways, it works and it's really cool. I have no complaints with this phone, it's a great size, sound quality is better than or equal to my Samsung and the Bluetooth pairing is so much quicker too. My Fitbit doesn't disconnect from it every other hour, and my car syncs up so much faster. Hands down, it's a GREAT phone with a GREAT camera. Highly recommend.

The upgrade I needed!
Upgraded from the pixel 5, impressed with the phone overall. Fingerprint sensor on screen, amazing camera and video quality. Good battery life and all the latest updates too!

Great phone, excellent camera, slow charging.
My experience switching from a Pixel 4a 5g to this phone was seamless. The included USB-C transfer cable was very helpful with the transfer. The battery lasts all day and the camera is absolutely amazing! The only downside is that charging is incredibly slow using anything other than a PD charger... oh and Google didn't bother to include a PD charger, so be prepared to spend extra money. Read the reviews and tips/tricks for this phone. The display is set to 1080 by default and can be increased by changing a setting manually... but I did not notice a difference with the higher resolution. I would never use a phone this expensive without a case or screen protector. I removed the case to take the photos, but they show the front and rear protectors.

Great cell phone, excellent camera!
I bought this cell phone specifically for its camera and it did not disappoint. Our family recently went on a 2 week vacation by car through 20 states, with sites including New Orleans, Hot Springs, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, the Badlands and Smoky Mts. My pictures couldn't be better had a used my Nikon. The battery life lasted all day and reception was crisp and clear even in remote areas. Highly recommend it.
