Excellent investment and excellent ice maker
I LOVE this product. It makes a TON of ice for a pretty small piece of equipment. It fills the bucket up very quickly so I am able to then put it into a bigger bucket in my freezer. I’m definitely saving money with it because I got it on sale for $90.00 I know that I would spend ALOT more than that on buying ice in a year. I’ll probably surpass that this summer so will have already made my money back. The only complaint I have and this is nitpicking is that the ice tends to clump together into a big solid piece again no big issue, but it is annoying. My favorite thing is the ice itself. It is log shaped w/a hole throughout the middle like Sonics or the hospitals ice. It’s the best!! It’s the perfect shape to suck on. I would highly recommend this product.

I don't normally do reviews! This compells me.
Our ice maker broke at the start of the pandemic. We can't have potential covid people in our house for repairs. While small, this thing has outpaced our ice needs by a longshot. We had to turn it off because we ran out of space to store the ice in less than 2 days or really about 16 hours of running time. It doesn't keep the ice frozen so you have to transfer it to a freezer But it is relentless.

Great machine that saves time!
I picked up this ice maker after casually keeping my eye out for one that had good reviews, and a decent price. I live in an apartment and do not have an ice maker on my fridge, which means I had been filling up ice trays for the last 5 years. I had been always looking for something like this, as it can be tedious doing that every day, and making sure there was ice. It is so much more convenient using this! All you do is add water, and the ice maker does the rest! It has saved me time, and has ensured that if I ever ran out, that I could have ice made in a matter of minutes. Owning this ice machine has been almost a complete win, but do have a few minor cons. The first, is that the machine itself does not keep the ice frozen after it's made, which is kind of an inconvenience. This means, that after the ice is made, you must transfer it to a container or bag in the freezer, otherwise itll just melt back into water. It's not the end of the world, but it is worth noting, since you will have to do some work. The other con is a direct result of the first con in that, once you put ice into the freezer, it tends to stick together, making it difficult to scoop pieces. I have to resort to using a knife to break it back up, which works ok, but ends up sending some ice pieces flying and landing on the ground. This con is the biggest one for me, as I cant just go to my freezer and put some ice in a cup. It's a bit of a process, and a little annoying. With that being said, I am still mostly happy with my purchase, which is mostly why I gave it 5 stars. It has been very reliable, and has not broken down, or stopped working in any way since I purchased it. I simply add water , and it makes the ice without fail. Time will tell if it remains that way, but as of now, I can say that it is very depending, mechanically. With that

They need to offer more complete cleaning solutio.
I love this counter top ice maker. It makes a ton of ice and takes up a little. My issue with the machine is that it gets dirty fast due to cold water mold. The water basket is easy enough to clean, however the basket that the ice cubes drop into before filling the regular basket is almost impossible to reach to clean. You can’t simply take a few panels off the to reach the interior backet to clean and I haven’t found any solutions. I’m going to give it a few more try’s at cleaning before I make my final decision.

Excellent value and very efficient.
This was an excellent buy at the price. The ice is in two sizes. Neither too small or too large. A bit noisy but not out of bounds noisy. You have to empty it fairly quickly or melt sets in. It does make a batch fairly quickly and is efficient. It does not take up too much room. Easy set up and cleaning.

PERFECTION & NOT LOUD!
I’ve had several different brand ice-makers in the past, and this one is by far my FAVORITE. Most importantly, it is not loud whatsoever. The only time we hear it is when the ice is dumping into the ice tray. The ice stays frozen for a long time, and only melts when it’s been sitting in the tray for 3-5 plus hours. This is the first brand I’ve owned that doesn’t get mold in the back where the cubes are made after a few weeks. I’ve had this ice maker since early December and it’s mid February, and like I said that’s yet to occur (THANK GOD) I never knew BestBuy had their own line of house hold appliance products until I came across this ice maker, and I’ll never use any other brand from now on. I actually went the following day and bought the microwave made by BestBuy after experiencing the quality of this ice maker. I have attached pictures for size reference. If you’re thinking about getting it, just do it! You will not regret it!

Nice Icecube Maker
I usually don’t like Insignia products but i do really like this ice cube maker, It doesn’t take that long to get you ice cubes, i would say about an hour or less to get a bag full of ice cubes. Very impress with this product and it’s still running strong!

Very quiet
This was very fast at baking my ice and it ran very quiet while it was doing it. I would recommend it to everyone that needs ice and likes to have some icebreaker in the same room with them. It works just great thank you. ?

Great little machine
My refrigerator ice maker died a few times and we gave up trying to fix it. I have been without an ice maker for over a year. Making ice cubes in trays really puts the kibosh on wanting to use ice. For Mother's Day I decided that I wanted an ice maker. This is the one I decided on. So far it has been great. I put three cups of water in, and it makes nine ice cubes at a time. It probably takes about two hours to use up most of the water. Towards the end, when the water is almost gone, the ice cubes start to look the size of sliced olives. If you don't take the ice out as it makes it, it could start melting as there's no way for the machine to freeze it in there. Also if you don't take the ice out, it could stop making ice because there's a point where it stops making ice if it is too full. When the machine is finished with a batch of cubes, I use the little scoop that came with the machine to put them into a silicone measuring cup I already had. Then I dump the ice into the place in my freezer where they are supposed to have been made by my freezer ice maker. Sigh. I can use the ice dispenser in my refrigerator this way. That's why I use three cups of water. For our average use for three of us who actually use the ice, that's enough for a few days. I learned that you don't want to make too much because the ice freezes together and it doesn't break up that easily. Once it has made all the cubes it can with the water I supplied, I turn it off and wait a bit until whatever ice it's trying to make melts again. Then I unplug it and take it to the sink to drain it. There's a little drain plug on the bottom right corner for easy draining. This machine is making me happy because I can have cold beverages again!
