Third time is a charm
Ordered refrigerator in late April. Best Buy could not deliver and install until 3 weeks later. Delivery and install, including removal of old built in refrigerator was set for May 18. On first day a 2 man delivery team showed up on time but were not going to install new refrigerator or remove old. On second day a 4 man team showed up but would not carry up steps to deliver new refrigerator. Worked with Best Buy to get their 4 man Premium Team to move up steps and install new refrigerator and remove old refrigerator. So on third day Premium team arrived and did a great install and removal. Pleased so far but will review refrigerator later when we have a chance to use it.

Kitchen Aid Built-in
Only a month or so since installation, but generally a good experience with this built-in refrigerator. I wish KitchenAid could back off on the branding. It would be a better design without the logo. Just my opinion.

It shows any marks on the stainless which is unf
The stainless steel shows any fingerprints easily and this is unfortunate. I‘ve taken a bit of time getting used to the two door model but it is a fine Refrigerator/freezer. Food has stayed in great condition during my only first ten days with it. I feel it is very expensive which I’m trying to figure out exactly why. Just cuz it is a built in model?

Our Build-In has come in!
First of all, it's gorgous! We bought the24.2 Cu. Ft. French Door stainless steel built-in refrigerator. With the refigerator French Doors on top, we now have all the space required to hold the all of our small things up to large and wide containers. A majority of our food isn in the refigerator, and now we can see the items on the shelves and drawers so much better that before. I didn't think we'd like the Freezer down below the refrig section, by it seems to be working! When you pull out the freezer drawer, the contents are easier to see and easier to load after coming home from shopping. We waited over 3 years for our buil-in to come in. It's pricy, but we love it>

Maybe worst appliance I’ve ever purchased
After living with this refrigerator for a year, there’s almost nothing positive to say about it other than it’s very quiet. Doors slam hard and loud despite repeated adjustments, ice maker arm is impossible to access, lower drawers constantly catch on the doors and at $9000, it should be perfect. Smaller, less expensive KitchenAid refrigerators I’ve owned in the past we’re far better. Actually, the 25 year old unit that this replaced was better.

Spacious
There is a great use of space in this model. Installing a built-in refrigerator is a nice look.

Okay with reservations
Panel ready fridge. Difficult to understand mounting systems and door clearances ahead of time. I looked up some older manuals and diagrams were much more detailed, but now Kitchenaid has omitted those from the manual. Doors had to be set at 90 degrees, but they don't stay open very well at that angle, they want to close on you. There's no way to use it like french doors unless you hold your elbows out to keep from getting close on, or you need a helper. Even though we installed panels, there is a lot of aluminum that shows on the front, we're thinking about painting all that aluminum to match the stained wood on the door panels. Freezer door is hard to pull out. Ice maker makes too much ice and it piles up and then gets knocked out and falls into the bottom part of the freezer when opening the ice drawer. Eventually I will have to clear out the freezer then reach in there and clean up all the ice that's fallen out. If I don't think about the price, it is a mostly enjoyable fridge, but when I do think of the price I feel like these details should have been worked out and documentation should have been impeccable. I always wonder if these appliance companies ever sit down with a focus group to see if they have the info they need in a manual and installation. It was professionally installed, but since some of the kitchenaid details are different than other manufacturers, it was quite hard to get right.
