Excellent Sub for small / mid sized sounds systems
I bought this sub to replace a 10-inch, 100 watt Polk sub and noticed a difference immediately! The bass absolutely filled the room, without sounding muddy or boomy, and did not lack for volume. Long story short, if you're thinking about getting this sub to listen to music or watch movies in a small-to-medium sized room then you will not be disappointed. I mainly use my system for watching movies so I ran it through a barrage of demos. One scene in particular really demonstrated the versatility of this sub; Batman vs. Bane in the sewer from "The Dark Knight Rises". This might not be the first scene that comes to mind when demoing a sub but trust me, it is perfect for testing precision and nuance; the subtle, constant rumble of water in the background; the deep, padded thump of punches traded by the characters; the imposing echo of Bane's footsteps against the metal grate; and finally the thunderous boom when he blows the explosive charges and rubble comes crashing down around our hero. This sub proved that it could handle more than just being low and loud. Demos continued: Mad Mad: Fury Road, the opening of Bumblebee, Kong: Skull Island, Ghost in the Shell, The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan, Master and Commander, the list goes on and on and it performed stellar on all of them. The only time the limits of this sub seemed to catch up to it was the opening rumbles of Blade Runner: 2049, a formidable demo indeed. And that's not to say that the low end or volume was an issue but there was quite a bit of reverberation from the sub itself, which can be a bit distracting. Even then, it may have just been the structural integrity of my basement failing and not the speaker itself. So to reiterate, this is a beast of sub that is 100% worth the money (especially if you can get it on sale).

Can someone say BASS!
Excellent sound! Much better than my Polk. Easy to install and works with direct TV, Pandora, and all app you can think of such as Netflix. Sale price was great too! Comes in 10 inch and 12 inch. 10 inch was more than enough.
