Performance and build quality for the win!!
If you're a mid-range gamer this is the best card on the market!! The build quality is insane in the performance is even better.

Looks good
I wanted the founders edition purely for aesthetics. It really does look and feel very good, and the power consumption on all the 40 series is exceptionally good with this card only using abt 165w TPD. However, Id recommend saving for a 4070 or a getting at least a 12gb 3060. Its not a bad card per say but, for the price theres better options.

They’re wrong, here’s why.
When you watch the reviews you learn quickly that this doesn’t seem like anything other than a scam. They say it’s more efficient and uses less power, But who needs that anyway? It’s a lot easier to buy a new power supply than a whole new graphics card right? It is but I promise you it goes deeper than whats on the surface. It’s actually pretty simple, when GPUs are reviewed they always run them at maximum but never allow them to run long enough to heat up and reach a temperature where they have to back off therefore hindering your performance. The reality is that all the 30 series cards get too hot but they don’t ever show that. I have pushed my 4060ti as hard as i could but could never pass 70 degrees celsius. therefore the performance you see with this one stays for hours unlike older cards that have to back off to cool down. Before you buy a GPU always look at efficiency, not for power saving, but consistency!

Efficient gaming
Great card for a new build. Bought this for my daughter’s pc and works perfectly. Low power consumption with good frames in 1440p. Not sure why all the hate for this card. No need to upgrade every new gpu drop….. Buy a better card and stop complaining. I’m personally glad nvidia first series (4060) gpu isn’t better than previous later series…say 3070ti.. even though it’s comparable. The 3070ti is still slightly better but also costed more on release. Thank you!

Good card
I’m using this card at 1440 with no problems at all. I really like sleek design of the founder’s edition and honestly I have no complaints. For 1080 and 1440 at reasonable settings, I think this card is great. If you’re trying to run 4k at moderate settings…..I’d look elsewhere. All in all I’m happy with this purchase.

Great GPU despite poor launch
The gpu is great, people are poorly reviewing it due to it’s poor gen to gen performance. It outperforms the 3060 ti by about 12%, which really isn’t great. This is still the best $400 gpu option, as it outperforms the 6700xt and 6750xt. My only real complaint is that it only has 8gb of vram.

I got it to collect, cant recommend it for gaming
I only gave it 4 stars because I literally bought it to add to my collection and it serves the purpose I wanted it to serve. My rating does not correlate to this GPU's terrible generational performance gap because there isn't a performance gap at all. It isn't worth buying. This was a very strange release. If you have a PC with a 3060 Ti, upgrading to a 4060 Ti will not get you a performance increase unless the game has Ray Tracing or has DLSS, and most games don't. In traditional rasterized games, the 4060 Ti will perform with 0-5 more FPS than the 3060 Ti. Sometimes less. 8gb is not enough to play every game at 1080p anymore. Some games will crash with this GPU because it doesn't have enough VRAM. Nvidia expects people to pay $400 for a GPU that severely limits them? Thats crazy. I have the 4060 Ti Founders Edition on display on my shelf and I'm going to get a plaque that days "worst Nvidia launch of all time".

I got this as an update to my 3060
I fot the gpu before watching any YT reviews. I just wanted to get a good looking gpu and one that could play 1080p and 1440p. I wanted something that gave me prefomance similar or better than the 3060 I had. In all my game i saw anything for a 10 to 40 fps increase without DLSS. If your into DLSS it will provide like 60 to 80 more fps but that is just not my thing. I have had it for 2 weeks and its been great. Except the day i put it in my system it did not wanted to boost up or run any game. But I did some changes in the bios of my motherboard and did some software updates and got it to work withing an hour. But its been great. Do recommend buying if your just looking for a decent preforming gpu that only needs a 550w psu. I have a 650w psu but my gpu only uses anything for 110 to 140 as i am gaming. It's really efficient.
