For the money, this is the best lens ever!
I love this lens. I've had so much trouble with my Nikon 18-300 lens, so many of my pictures are blurred or dark, I thought something was wrong with me or my Nikon D500, but then I bought the Sigma 150-600 for Nikon. The lens is so smooth and quiet. The photos are razor sharp and I can take amazing pictures even in low light situations. I love the lens. It's so fast, my birds in flight pictures are amazing. I just wish it weren't so big and heavy or I would use it every day everywhere I go. I don't think you can beat this lens for the money.

Awesome lens
This is an awesome lens for the price. It is kind of heavy but I don't have a problem with carrying it around. You will want to carry it like a baby. My in flight photos are stunning.

IT MADE ME FALL IN LOVE WITH WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY
(Review wouldn’t let me use full resolution photos) I love this lens, I’ve gotten some shots I’m really proud of with it. I think this lens is the best bang for the buck, I have a Nikon d750 and I didn’t want to pay the extra money for Nikon 100-500 which yes having 5.6 at 500mm would be nice but often I’m not missing it. Plus the extra 100mm is really nice when you’re trying to learn how to get closer to your subject and you just want those nice up close shots. Is it perfect all the time? No it could focus faster for sure sometimes hunts but even the best lenses and best autofocus you have to shoot right to capture and focus really quickly. I definitely recommend this lens to people when they are trying to get into wildlife photography. If you have crop sensor and want lighter you could look at sigmas 100-400 my dad has that on a z50 and loves it Pros: -gets you closer to subject for a good value -feels pretty durable(even though I baby it) -you can get protective cushion skins and rain covers for it -you can get some really sharp photos -again great price comparatively -has image stabilization -comes with a nice tripod foot, smooth for rotating on tripod from portrait to horizontal Cons: -it’s pretty heavy but not crazy, if you’re going to be waiting for a subject in the bushes like I do sometimes I definitely suggest a tripod and a gimbal head. -probably won’t fit in most beginners camera bags but that’s to be expected

I would tell anyone to buy it that loves photograhy.

Fantastic lens
Bigger and heavier than I expected, but the image quality is fantastic. Images come out super sharp and crisp and won't leave you disappointed. Autofocus is lightening fast in most cases, and even if it has to cycle through the whole range, it's still pretty quick. The focus ring feels smooth, and is easy to use, and has full-time manual override. Optical stabilization works well. I found the focal ring to be very stiff to use to the point where I wondered if the lock switch even had any purpose. It has loosened up a bit with use, but it's still stiff compared to my Nikon lenses. The case it comes with is very nice, and great for keeping the lens protected when not in use. Also the strap is very handy. Due to the weight of this lens, you really don't want to be carrying it by the camera body. A monopod or sturdy tripod with all-metal head is essentially required for most practical uses of this lens.

Great lens. See pictures.
Matched with Nikon D5600. The pictures talk by themselves. Can imagine when I get the Nikon D850 for great results.

Outstanding lens
Excellent lens. Very high quality and affordable compared to the camera mfg.'s. lens. It does everything and more than I expected. Opened up a whole new world and improved the quality of my photographs.

Budget friendly, but not cheap.
I’ve had this lens for a little over a year now and have taken thousands of photos with it. This is a superb “budget friendly” alternative to the 200-500 Nikon (which I have also shot). To the untrained eye, the photos are just as sharp as the Nikon and if you are going to zoom in and make prints, it is fantastic.

Great lens
You can hand hold this lens and get great pictures. This is definitely a specialty lens. This is for safaris, birds, etc... Very sharp pictures even at 600mm. I use it with the Nikon D7100, so it gets 900mm at 24 mp. The lens is very heavy, but it is way lighter than the sports version. Be sure to get the dock for future updates and personal configuration. This is a bargain for all this lens offers.
