Big Monitor with great colors for everyday tasks
The HP Series 5 532sf FHD Monitor is a large monitor that is good for multitasking and enjoying movies. The first impression when I opened the box is the size of the screen; at 31.5 inches, it has ample screen real estate with a sleek design and thin bezel that offer a modern look complementing any workspace. It connects through VGA or through two HDMI ports. It only takes a handful of minutes to put it together; just attach the stand to the back of the monitor and no tools are required. The stand is very basic and only offers tilt adjustments and cannot be adjusted for height and cannot swivel either. The bottom left of the monitor has the power buttons and four additional setting buttons. It can get a bit complicated to maneuver through the settings with those buttons. Thankfully, the HP Display Center app from the Microsoft store makes the process much simpler plus it gives you access to many options to customize it to your liking. Once connected and turned on, it is an easy to use monitor. As expected from a VA panel monitor, the colors are vibrant with great contrast. The Full HD (1920x1080) resolution is good enough for everyday use. Personally, because of the size, I would prefer a higher resolution for sharper visuals. I do video and photo editing as a hobby, and this monitor would not be my favorite because of the resolution limitations. However, it’s a great monitor to watch movies, surf the web and do basic work such as emailing and preparing reports; it has beautiful colors that you can customize with the adjustable contrast, color and black levels. Also, the refresh rate rate can be adjusted up to 100 Hz which is perfect for movies, smoother scrolling and playing light games. Another option I like is the HP Eye Ease that filters out blue light thus reducing eye strain. I’ve used it several times and it really helps. I wish it had integrated speakers especially with a monitor that size; it would have been more convenient than using headphones or external speakers. In my opinion, the HP Series 5 532sf is a well-rounded monitor for everyday tasks, casual entertainment, productivity work and browsing. That large clear display offers a smoother refresh rate, some eye care features, good color accuracy, and a modern design. I would recommend it unless you’re looking for a monitor for professional design work or high-resolution gaming.

Upgrade monio
The set up was easy and quick. I was working in no time with a much needed upgrade from my previous monitor. The response rate and the graphics are just what I needed to make work less stressful.

Terrific Big Screen Monitor for Work!
Having a high quality monitor is very important to those who work on their computer all hours of the day. You want a mix of form and function, and the new HP Series 5 32 inch monitor has been great for those purposes! PROS: - Unboxing I really liked the look of this monitor immediately. It has a smooth look to it, stylish, and very minimalistic which is a big benefit! The setup for this is minimal as you just need to connect it to its base and then of course plug it in. - The bezel-less look of the monitor was a great appeal! It makes the monitor feel more immersive. - I also noticed quickly the smoothness of it as the 100hz refresh rate really does give it an extra pop. - Another piece I think people will like is the low blue light being "eye safe certified" because when you stare at a screen for hours on end, you really need that added eye safety and this HP monitor hits on that! - It comes with plenty of cables as well since it has 2 HDMI hookups as well as a VGA hookup. CONS: - I would have loved some premium features like HDR or 4K on this. BOTTOM LINE: - The new HP Series 5 monitor in 32 inch is an excellent monitor for those who use a monitor all day long for work! It looks great, the screen is very crisp with a great image, but it has built in safety features to make sure your eyes do not hurt. This is a great buy and happy to use it!

I can't really think of anything I don't like
After using this monitor for about a week, I have to say that there's not really much I don't like about this monitor. Like, it could be better if the stand allowed for the monitor to swivel and rotate, but even that feels a bit nitpicky since the panel is the size of a small TV. The screen size is really nice for my primary monitor. Text is large without adjusting the scaling, and I can read small text in games without straining my eyes. It's also nice for programming and word processing. The framerate is decent (the monitor goes up to 100Hz), the color is good as well. I also like how it's able to be controlled by the HP Display Manager program over the HDMI cable - I can switch the display to Night Mode or change the brightness with a click rather than fiddling with the buttons on the monitor. Speaking of which, I am glad that the buttons are separate rather than combined into some weird button plus D-pad thing. One of the other things that I really like about this monitor is that it's very versatile. It's a "standard" resolution of 1920 by 1080 rather than 1920 by 1200, which is good for compatibility with some older games. It also comes with a VGA port and two HDMI ports, which is incredibly nice since I tend to have multiple computer systems to keep tabs on but lack the space for a bunch of monitors everywhere. Aesthetically, the monitor is nice as well. I like the power light being white rather than an annoyingly bright blue, and the sleep light being orange rather than blinking is also nice. I'm actually really fond of the stand - the way that it's a sort of ring looks nice, and I've been using it to do things like keep batteries from rolling away. The fact that it's got a cable channel on the back to pull all the cables together in one spot is also nice, since it avoids the problem of wire spaghetti. I'm also a fan of the thin bottom bezel not wrapping around the whole monitor. Overall, it's a really good monitor, and I rather like it. It's versatile and nice to look at, and I really appreciate the night mode. I'd definitely recommend it, as long as you have the desk space.

HP Monitor for MAC
Works well. I would order it again. MAC Hook up can be a little challenging changing the font size.

Super thin and HUGE
In the box is the monitor, power plug, HDMI cable, monitor stand and a quick start guide. First impression - This monitor is huge and I am loving the super slim frame. I own quite a few monitors but none of them are this thin. I would also like to mention that when I took the monitor out of the protect foam bag, I notice right away that my hand prints were on the screen. (I constantly wash my hands and apply hand creme, so my hands can be a little oily at times.) The monitor has 2 HDMI ports and 1 VGA port. The buttons for power and the menu settings are on the right side and there is an indicator light that is white when on and amber when in sleep mode. The stand allows you to tilt the monitor but it does not go up and down. On the bottom left side of the front of the monitor, it says 100Hz (the box states 100Hz refresh rate), 3 sided borderless, tilt, low blue light and 31.5 diagonal length. This is great for me because I am constantly looking at a screen and I am definitely going to switch this out with one of my monitors in the home office. The quick start guide says that the maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080 @ 100Hz. When you manually turn on the monitor-the setting will be set to 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz and the input is automatically set to auto-switch input as on. The monitor will be able to detect the device that is plugged in and turned on (power save option). The visuals on the monitor is pretty good with the included HDMI cord. I was able to watch videos and use it for work and I love how big the screen is. There is an app for the monitor that is in the Microsoft Store that will allow you make changes to the settings or you can use the buttons on the bottom of the right side (front) of the monitor. I ended up using the buttons on the monitor more because I love how there are arrows and check marks to assist with moving around in the settings menu to adjust the settings. I normally don’t adjust settings on a monitor, so I am learning the different items in the menu. There is a blue light setting which is also new to me and you will definitely notice a change in the view. I would also like to note that when I watched videos, the sound went to my laptop. Overall, I am very excited to have a newer larger screen and I am definitely impressed with the design because there is a bulky back. I would definitely recommend this monitor to friends and family.

HP Monitor
The monitor is wobbly, has poor optics and is too big for my desk. I should have purchased a small size monitor with better clarity.
